MS Project Module 1: Project Plan Definition

Use Microsoft Project 2013 as your Project Management Information System (PMIS). Learn how to outline and build a specific project plan step-by-step, incorporating complex relationships between tasks and resources. Design a Work Breakdown Structure to ensure completion of the project, set realistic schedules, make accurate estimates, and manage the expectations of customers. Additional Information: E-Textbook will be provided: Microsoft Project 2016 (This book is also required for the MS Project Module 2 & 3). Prerequisites: Basic computer experience.

Track the use of resources and materials accurately, and assure the success of any project! Learn to fine-tune schedule and cost estimates with resources using MS Project 2013. Explore trade-off analysis between cost, time and scope. Implement a tracking system for reporting project progress. Learn to develop a comprehensive project management information system infrastructure and design advanced reports to meet project communication requirements. Create and manage custom fields, reports and calendars. Develop and use a shared resource pool and project templates. Prepare project information to publish online. Share project information with other software. Review system requirements for workgroup collaboration and various add-on products.
