Linda Strauss is a Human Resources professional with over 25 years of experience. As a consultant, Linda provides employers with training, and strategic HR programs to manage employment issues with comfort, confidence and compliance. She also provides services to professionals such as leadership development, coaching, and career advisement. In addition, Linda delivers soft skills training, such as interpersonal and communications skills, and emotional intelligence training, designed to enhance success and engagement in work and life.
Linda holds two Senior HR certifications, SHRM-SCP and SPHR, and is a Certified Mediator of Workplace Conflict. In addition, she is a certified trainer of Becoming the Totally Responsible Person (TRP®), and TRP® Managing Change, and is certified in Mental Health First Aid. She is an instructor for UNM’s Anderson School of Management, where she teaches management and HR classes to working professionals. Linda also conducts workplace investigations, as well as HR, compliance and soft skills talks and trainings such as for the EEOC, and harassment prevention trainings including on behalf of the NM Secretary of State.
Over her career in corporate HR, Linda specialized in every aspect of HR including training, employee relations, retention, performance management, recruitment, policies and procedures, and benefits and compensation for corporations in Miami, New York City, and Santa Fe.
As a volunteer leader, Linda is currently the Director of Community and Business Partnerships for the Society for HR Management (SHRM) NM, and previously served as Director of Workforce Readiness, as well as Director of Awards and Recognition over the HR Professional of the Year award. She has also served as VP of Professional Development, Programs, and Membership, and President of the Santa Fe chapter of SHRM.
